Students must come to school regularly. No leave of absence will be
granted to a student except on previous written application from
parent and that too for serious reason.
As a rule, not more than two days of leave of absence will be
granted to attend the wedding of a brother or sister and one day for
a more distant relation.
Students who have been absent on account of illness or other
unavoidable circumstances must on attending class again, bring an
explanation from the parent on the non-attendance record and have it
counter signed by the Principal of Discipline otherwise they will
not be admitted to the class.
Case when illness is likely to keep a student away from school for
more than a week, a letter supported by a Medical certificate must
be sent to the Principal as soon as possible.
A student must not leave the school premises during school hours
without the express permission of the Principal.
When leave is required, a leave application signed by parent /
guardian should be sent to the Principal. A medical certificate
should be attached if required. Separate leave notes should be
submitted for siblings.
Absence from school during test /examination will not be conducted
except in case of illness, certified by a doctor.
If a student has not been able to do the homework given due to
illness or other unavoidable circumstances, a note of excuse must be
brought from the parents/ guardians.
Irregular attendance justifies dismissal of a student. A student may
be dismissed after two warning letters have been issued.
A student returning to the school after suffering from an infectious
or contagious illness should produce doctor's certificate permitting
him to join the class.
